The scope of the assignment covered the planning and engineering design of the LPG storage facilities, dispensing systems and associated forecourt layout to ensure safe and efficient vehicle refuelling operations. The design was developed to support Autogas affiliated vehicles, providing a reliable and purpose built refuelling solution for both private and commercial users.
Approach
A strong emphasis was placed on safety, regulatory compliance and operational reliability. The facility layout incorporated appropriate safety clearances, controlled access zones, emergency systems and compliant equipment placement in line with applicable fuel handling and hazardous installations standards. The design also considered traffic flow, vehicle manoeuvring and customer accessibility to ensure smooth and safe on site operations.
Solution
The final design delivers a modern, compliant and scalable autogas facility that supports cleaner energy use in the transport sector while providing a practical and secure refuelling environment for LPG powered vehicles in the Redhill area.
